Another video emerges in regards to Shanquella Robinson

This is a very terrible story. It has been reported that Shanquella Robinson was at a villa in Mexico for a friend’s birthday. 24 hours later, she wound up dead.

Her friends claimed it was due to alcohol poisoning but authorities said she had a broken neck & spinal injuries. Now, her family is seeking answers.

Video’s have emerged of Shaquella being attacked in the villa and now the FBI are involved. Shanquella Robinson was only 25 years old and from North Carolina. Prayers go out to her family!

Steve Nash fired from head coach of Brooklyn Nets!

It is reported that former Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Nash initially took over Brooklyn in September of 2020 but was never able to capitalize on a plethora of talented veterans which included Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden among others.

During the summer, Durant requested a trade from the team and (reportedly) cited Nash’s presence as one reason why.

Eventually that subsided, but then the circus of Irving continued into the season, which recently again was put in the spotlight.

“I think the organization is trying to take that stance or they may communicate through this, and try to all come out in a better position and with more understanding and more empathy for every side of this debate and situation,” Nash said on Monday. Its been talks of Serena Williams returning to the game of tennis. The 41 year old tennis star say that the chances of her returning are “very high” after she previously indicated that she would step away from the sport after last month’s U.S. Open.

“I am not retired,” Williams said at a conference in San Francisco while promoting her investment company, Serena Ventures.

“The chances (of a return) are very high. You can come to my house, I have a court.”

I truly miss Serena on the court. Only time will tell when she will grace the court.

2022 Mattress shopping

Its been great to live near Nostrand avenue with all the constant changes to each and every neighborhood that borders Nostrand Ave. But, as the years change so does that lease agreement. I am moving again… Up sizing then Down sizing then Down sizing some more. Its time for some new crib.
Lots of new buildings and old ones alike, but size and price matters the most. I am looking at a smaller place this time around and need new furniture. Many a comfortable bed! All over the internet looking for a me mattress that would keep me well rested and comfortable in my new space.

A few of the important features I was look for in a mattress online include:

Good support: To avoid tossing and turning or waking up achy, you should find a mattresses that keeps your spine aligned. Some mattresses do that better for side sleepers of certain sizes; others, for back sleepers of certain sizes. A small handful can serve both, according to our testing.

Durability: A mattress that sags or lumps up within months of use isn’t helpful, no matter how comfortable it feels to you. Our testing shines a light on the dregs, so you can avoid them.

Stability: If you sleep with a partner, you need a mattress that isolates motion well enough so that you don’t wake up whenever your partner rolls over.

Owner satisfaction: While mattress preferences are subjective, it’s still nice to know whether owners of the same type of mattress from the same company are happy with their purchase. A low rating in this category may mean it’s best to stay away.

Of course a lot of these factors are very hard to figure out when buying online, I recommend checking the reviews and ratings.

New York to install surveillance cameras in every subway car 

New York Governer Kathy Hochul announced Tuesday a plan to install surveillance cameras in every New York City subway car by 2025. Hochul said, as ridership numbers are still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels. It also follows several highly publicized crimes that have occurred in the transit system, including the rape of a tourist on a subway platform this month; a mass shooting on a subway car in Brooklyn in April that left 10 passengers wounded; and the fatal shooting of a Goldman Sachs employee on a train in May.

The plan is to help bring back and increase ridership to the NY subway system. Some privacy advocates are worried about the cameras and say the cameras may not necessarily making the subway safer. Subway stations in the city already have surveillance cameras.
